Aplus Video to 3GP Converter is a video converter for Windows. It can be used to convert AVI, WAV, MP3, MPG, MPEG, VOB, RM, RMVB, WMV, WMA, ASF, MOV, and QT files into MPEG-4 and XviD files for playback on mobile devices with small screens. At the top of the screen is a drop-down menu with a list of available output types, which are basically categories for conversion profiles. The actual profiles will be shown below that. By default, the category selected is "Cell Phone 3GP files (3GP + AMR) and there are four conversion profiles under that category, which vary in resolution and video and audio codec combination.
In terms of design, this application is a bit too simple. Other than the conversion profiles, there isn't anything else you can change. There is a video player that allows you to set the start and end time of your conversion. You can use this if you want to discard parts of the source video file.
In my testing, I was unable to get this converter to work. When I initiated the conversion process it seemed to be converting, but the final file never showed up in the output folder. I changed it several times to no avail.
